Every week there’s a new “holy grail” serum, a viral toner pad, or a $12 dupe that supposedly works just like the $90 original. It’s hard to keep up, and even harder to know who to trust.

That’s why I started Glowy or Not. I want to help you figure out which products are actually worth your money and which ones are mostly hype.

What I do

I read the stuff you don’t have time for: thousands of customer reviews, full ingredient lists, brand claims, and the research behind trending ingredients. Then I boil it all down into one simple verdict. Glowy, or not?

What I’ve tried, and what I haven’t

I’ll be honest with you. Some products I’ve used myself, and many I haven’t. Every post is labeled at the top as either “I’ve used this” or “Researched, not tested,” so you always know whether you’re getting my own experience or a research summary. I think you deserve to know that, especially in an industry where so much content is quietly sponsored.

Who this is for

  • Anyone who’s bought something because TikTok said so and regretted it
  • Shoppers on a budget who want to know if the cheaper version is good enough
  • Anyone curious about what ingredients like PDRN, copper peptides, or azelaic acid actually do

Is there a product you want me to look into? Send me a message. I read every one.
